Open Stage Cologne Ehrenfeld

I have been collaborating online with international artists for a long time, well before the start of the pandemic. Cyndiva (Maryland, USA), Gilli Moon (California, USA) and Patrick Rydman (Sweden) are just a few of the artists I have written songs with, mostly with the intention of pitching them to other artists or for Film/TV.

Most of my formal musical education was also achieved online through the Open University (Music Elements and Styles) and the Boston Berklee College of Music (Arranging and Style Writing for Performers and Arrangers).

I play guitar and piano and even my 2 years+ online piano tuition with Mark Harrison (California), author of the world wide known instructional book "The Pop Piano Book", took place entirely online .

My direct contact with an audience and the stage has always been through my being member of choirs ( Gospel choir "Great Joy" , "Guerzenich-Orchester Buergerchor") and this is possibly the reason why I had never had any desire of performing solo myself.

This suddenly changed during the pandemic when I started performing weekly online for a pub in Edinburgh. Due to restrictions, my scottish friends were no longer allowed to perform in the Captain's bar in Edinburgh and they started an online weekly session to which I was invited and which is still going strong to this day. "I'm going down to the pub" is the in-joke in the family as I go downstairs to my cellar/studio to join my weekly zoom/facebook live session...

This together with my recent taking part to the songwriting/performer competition Tour Music Fest in Italy made me think that maybe it was time to start writing for myself and sing my own songs.
In 2022 I released my first single "Il Ciclista Di Bucha" about the war in Ukraine followed by 3 other singles to date, with the intent of finding my own audience.

All tracks have been almost entirely arranged and produced by myself, including the recording and programming of the various real or virtual instruments.
